Celebrating an organisation's history through 50 individual journeys: A creative storytelling campaign
Recovery (like addiction) does not just impact the individual. Every other person in their life is impacted, from family, friends, work and their local community.
50 Faces of Coolmine is a collection of some of the people whose lives have been touched by Coolmine’s impact. Together these individuals tell a story of recovery in Ireland, and of how Coolmine provides hope and support to those who are losing their way to addiction. This collection of stories provides the real picture of how recovery restores hope. |
Having seen the impact of lived experience and personal storytelling on supporter engagement, I created the 50 Faces of Coolmine Campaign to celebrate Coolmine's 50th Anniversary.
Alongside another photographer I photographed more than 50 participants from staff and board members, corporate partners, longtime supporters, community advocates, peer agencies and of course graduates of the programmes. We then gathered their stories and curated this piece into an online campaign and a gallery exhibition. |
